ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
THE ACTIVITIES : *Participation in projects of the organization: participating in specific projects of the organization, supporting the team in developpement of new european projects, participating in the elaboration of actions of youths and communicating, animating workshops for youths on the subject of international mobility and/or interculturality (linguistic workshops), promoting the organization and its actions to youths and the professionnals of the youth and insertion sectors, initiating new actions, proposing new missions related with the objectives of the program and depending on the motivations of each volunteer *Promoting international mobility: Promoting the organization and its action to youths and the professionnals of the youth and insertion sectors, raising awareness for international mobility, animating help desks/stands, participating in fairs, forums…, informing the youths about the organization, communicating (posters, video and/or photo, articles, newsletter)
ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS
Parcours Le Monde – Sud Ouest will take care of the logistical aspects: * accomodation * local transport (metro, bus) * food arrangement * pocket money The project will take place in Toulouse, a big city in the South of France. The flat or the student residence should be fully equipped and the residence should be located near public transports, shops, restaurants and bars as well as cultural attractions. All transport and food expenses will be refund to the volunteers.
TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY
During the project, the volunteers will be supported by Parcours Le Monde : – welcome phase with the whole team – seminar on arrival and mid-term by the National Agency – one meeting per month with the tutor, someone of the association – one meeting every 3 months with the Area Manager – informal integration times with a mentor – participating in the weekly team meeting – review meeting at the end of the project (Youthpass, skills, …) – language support with OLS (Online Linguistic Support)
PARTICIPANT PROFILE
We are looking for 2 european volunteers – Between 18 and 30 years old – Knowledge of French appreciated (speaking and understanding) – Knowledge in English – Knowledge in animation – Skills in social media and communication’s tools appreciated – Able to work individually and in a team – Motivated, open-minded, flexible, proactive.
