Italy Altamura European Solidarity Corps


The activities will take place at the Agorateca, a community library in Altamura, managed by Associazione Link since June 2019. Agorateca is a public space where it is possible to study, read and consult books; the place hosts workshops, seminars and creative activities for children and adults and hosts. There is also an urban garden, whose objective is to be a centre of aggregation, the garden can be taken care of by the inhabitants of the neighbourhood and all who attend the library. In the garden are developed activities related to creative recycling, construction of greenhouse and street furniture to create a small park for children of the cit. More details


The volunteers flat of Altamura is settled in the city centre.The flat has a living room, a shared bathroom, a big kitchen where the volunteers can prepare meals on their own. The house is equipped with independent heating and washing machine. Volunteers will stay in a shared room.The volunteers are obliged to take care of the houseand all the furniture and objects in it. The volunteer is responsible for cleaning the house. In case of damaging orbad shape condition of the apartment, the volunteer must reimburse the expenses.


Young people between 18 and 30 years who are legally residing in a participating country or in a partner country and have registered in the European Solidarity Corps Portal. Moreovere, people who have already done an individual ESC can apply. This group will be made up of young Italians and participants from EU countries.

    Sono Anna Riemer, vengo dall’Austria e sto partecipando a un progetto “Erasmus +” nella città di Viterbo. Grazie alle mie precedenti esperienze con lo scambio europeo sono ancora più convinta della mia decisione di voler far parte di un progetto simile anche l’anno prossimo. Finisco il progetto con l’ultimo giorno d’ottobre.Sono venuta a conoscenza della vostra organizzazione e della cooperazione con “Erasmus +” attraverso il portale “European youth corps”. Dato che l’iscrizione era per quest’anno, vorrei sapere se ci saranno dei progetti l’anno prossimo e che tipo di lavori sono/saranno disponibili.
