AICEM is looking for 6 volunteers, 2 people in 3 different venues: – 2 in Brattirò di Drapia (Calabria) – 2 in Acerra (Naples) – 2 in Sassari (Sardinia) Activities that will be implemented in the different venues by the volunteers: Support to the management of the association’s activities and in particular: communication, planning and coordination activities and training activities Implementation of educational activities aimed at young people and children in relation to the themes of: human rights, fight against bullying, sustainability, active citizenship, correct lifestyles. Support to the association’s activities at schools and community centers in the area Organization of linguistic tandems with the local population Support for the organization of local events, including sports, aimed at promoting social inclusion and participation among young people in the suburbs
ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS
The 2 volunteers will be hosted in a shared flat/room The food will be provided by the association Transportation costs will be covered for all the activities foreseen Pocket money foreseen
TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY
Arriving in Italy, the volunteers will stay in Rome to participate in an internal two-weeks training course to know the association better. Then, arriving in the local venue (Brattirò, Mugnano di Napoli, Sassari), they will also have a specific training about the activities implemented in the 10 months. An ESC volunteer is also required to participate in an Arrival Training (1 week) and midterm evaluation provided by the Italian National Agency.
The volunteers must be from one of the EU countries and willing to learn and develop skills in the field of the activities proposed.
