‘CEO for One Month’ is a programme of the Adecco Group Foundation, which leverages the skills and know-how of the Adecco Group, the world’s leading provider of HR solutions. Creating social value is in the DNA of the Group, and the Foundation is the vehicle for creating social value in the field of employment and skills.
CEO for One Month’ is an initiative that offers young people the possibility to develop and showcase their leadership potential, to learn what it takes to succeed as a business leader and to acquire the skills and the experience needed to get a foot on the career ladder.
At national level, the Programme selects one successful candidate from the applicant pool to shadow the Adecco Group’s country-level CEO for one full month, working side- by-side to experience the life of a senior business leader. In the last six years, more than 250 candidates have had this amazing opportunity. Then, ten outstanding national participants are selected for a Global Bootcamp and one will be chosen to work alongside and shadow the global CEO of the Adecco Group for one month.

Since 2015, the ‘CEO for One Month’ has grown from 32,000 to 260,000 applicants in 2019.
The Adecco Group is offering you the unique opportunity to become the global ‘CEO for One Month’, under the direct supervision of the CEO of the Adecco Group, Alain Dehaze.
The selected global ‘CEO for One Month’ will get a taste of how to run a multinational company with 34,000 employees in 60 countries. The highly qualifying experience could be a huge boost to any career!
‘CEO for One Month’ will run in more than 40 countries, where the first step will be for candidates to apply to become ‘CEO for One Month’ in their country of residence, before making it to a shortlist of 10 top performers. Of the final 10 candidates, 1 will be chosen to become global ‘CEO for One Month’

March 19 : Applications close in the rest of the countries
March 2 – April 30 : Selection process ongoing in the countries (dates vary in every country)
May 12 : Country ‘CEOs for One Month’ will be announced!
May 11 – July 10 : Country ‘CEOs for One Month’ take up their roles (this may vary in your country)
July 13 – August 4 : The selection process among Country CEOs starts to become global ‘CEO for One Month’
August 13 : Announcement of 10 Bootcamp candidates
August 21 – 25 : Finalists attend Bootcamp in a major city!
August 24 : The Adecco Group global ‘CEO for One Month’ is announced and he/she starts the greatest work experience of his/her life!
