FULL – Online sessions: producing radio shows in lockdown (train-the-trainer)
E-learning
14-16 April 2020 | From home, Belgium – FL
Are you working with children or youngsters (with fewer opportunities), during this time of crisis and social distancing, on a daily basis? Do you need some inspiration on activities, tools, challenges?
Audio is a great way to tell stories, send messages in a safe way or present to an audience.
In these two online sessions you’ll learn how to produce a radioshow or podcast with young people.
In the first session (Tuesday the 14th of april, 2pm – 4pm, Belgian time)
– Structure and content of a radio show
– Recording devices and -surroundings: voice recording without professional gear
– Music and audio effects (what, where, legal?)
– Basic audio editing (with Reaper, freeware)
– Copyright and publication platforms
In the second session (Thursday the 16th of april, 2pm – 4pm, Belgian time) we’ll zoom in on audio editing and take our time to answer questions, identify difficulties etc.
These sessions are free of charge, but registration is required. You’ll receive a confirmation email containing further information. The workshop will take place via Whereby.com, a telecommunication platform.
To be clear: these sessions are not about live-streaming or starting a local FM frequency. It is about puzzling together a radio show or podcast, with audio editing software.
