Top Universities declared the universities who have the best success rates in the 2019-2020 year. Also, this list shows the best universities in Turkey.

The first university became Koc University and 9 universities of Turkey achieved to find a place on the list. Also, Koc University is only a university from Turkey with 451th in the best 500 university list. The second university is Bilkent University from Turkey and Hacettepe University is 8th, and İstanbul University is the 9th University from Turkey. On the global list, MİT has the first university according to their success.

Koç University

Koç University was established in 1993 as a non-profit private university in Istanbul, Turkey.

Koç University has become one of the most prestigious universities in Turkey. Koç University currently consists of Colleges of Social Sciences and Humanities, Administrative Sciences and Economics, Science, Engineering, Law, Nursing and Medicine. Koç University offers 22 undergraduate, 29 graduate and 30 Ph.D. programs. The University has approximately 7,000 students.

Bilkent University

Bilkent University is the first non-profit private university in Ankara, Turkey. It was founded by Prof. İhsan Doğramacı in 1984. The name of the university comes from “Bilim Kenti” in Turkish which means “city of science”. The university offers 33 undergraduate majors, together with 32 graduate programs spanning 22 different fields.

Sabanci University

Sabancı University was established in 1994 by under the guidance of one of Turkey’s leading family foundations, Sabancı Vakfı and efforts of Sabanci Group. University Courses is Sabancı University’s core curriculum for undergraduates. Designed with a multidisciplinary approach, University Courses establishes links between the natural and social sciences as well as among other disciplines.

Middle East Technical University (METU)

Middle East Technical University  is a public technical university located in Ankara, Turkey.

The university puts special focus on research and education in engineering and natural sciences, offering about 40 undergraduate programs within 5 faculties, and 97 masters and 62 doctorate programs within 5 graduate schools. METU has more than 120,000 alumni worldwide. The education language is English.

Bogazici University

Boğaziçi University is a major research university located on the European side of the Bosphorus strait in Istanbul, Turkey. The name of the university comes from Bosphorus. It has four faculties and two schools offering undergraduate degrees, and six institutes offering graduate degrees. The language of instruction is English. Boğaziçi University consistently ranks highest in Turkey, having the greatest number of applicants via the YGS-LYS Turkish university entrance examinations. It provides programs for applied science, education, engineering, and social sciences.

Istanbul Technical University

Istanbul Technical University is an international technical university located in Istanbul, Turkey. It is the world’s third-oldest [11] technical university which established in 1773. Graduates of Istanbul Technical University have received many TUBITAK science and TUBA awards. They have 35,789 students and 4 urban, 1 suburban campuses.

The university has 39 undergraduate, 144 graduate programs, 13 colleges, 346 labs, and 12 research centers.

Ankara University

Ankara University is a public university in Ankara, the capital city of Turkey. It was the first higher education institution founded in Turkey after the formation of the republic. It was founded in 1946.  The university has 40 vocational programs, 120 undergraduate programs, and 110 graduate programs. Ankara University has 42.830 students.

Hacettepe University

Hacettepe University is a major state university in Ankara, Turkey. It was founded in 1967. It has faculties of Economic and Administrative Sciences, Law, Education, Engineering, Fine Arts, Letters, and Science.

They have 49582 students. University has two campuses as urban and suburban.

İstanbul University

Istanbul University is a prominent Turkish university located in Istanbul. The main campus is adjacent to Beyazıt Square in Fatih, the capital district of the province, on the European side of the city. It established in 1453.  They have 86,092 undergraduate students.  They provide opportunities for a lot of programs in Beyazıt Campus, Vezneciler Campus, Avcılar Campus, Bahçeköy Campus, Çapa Campus, Cerrahpaşa Campus, Kadıköy Campus.
