Accommodation

Food
The community kitchen provides three vegetarian or vegan meals per day.
Participants will also have access to tea and coffee and occasional fruits and snacks.

Location
Ängsbacka is located in the Swedish countryside near the village of Molkom.
Molkom village is about 2 km away and Karlstad city is 30 km from the community.
Volunteers can walk or use community bicycles to reach Molkom. Larger services such as hospitals, libraries and shops are available in Karlstad.
Activities and Community Experience
The daily programme at Ängsbacka combines volunteering work with personal development activities.
Participants may take part in yoga and meditation sessions, dance and movement workshops, sauna and relaxation activities, film nights and open stage events.
Volunteers are also encouraged to host their own workshops or activities.
Sharing circles are an important part of the community culture, allowing participants to express themselves openly in a respectful and supportive environment.
During the project, volunteers will receive guidance from work mentors and a social mentor to support their learning journey and well-being.
