Sweden ESC European Solidarity Corps We offer a seven months project in Sustainable Living & Organization where you have the chance to really discover what it means to be in-tune with nature and yourself. You will learn skills, acquire knowledge and gain insights from your own personal experience in the fields of: > Organic Gardening & Permaculture > Sustainable Cooking & Circular Gastronomy > Personal growth, Entrepreneurship, Community & Creativity > Forest Preservation & Food Forestry > Sustainable Building & Maintenance We are passionate about learning by doing and offering spaces for experience to happen. Our intention and vision is for you to feel more empowered to move your own way in life and be equipped with practical skills and knowledge that supports that. So you can bring your learnings back home, integrate them into your work, projects and personal contexts.

ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS

The accommodation is a single room with shared bathroom and kitchen. Food (Vegetarian/vegan) will be served during the retreats in our restaurants: breakfast, lunch and dinner. And otherwise you will be cooking your own food, we provide the groseries. Mundekulla is located in the beautiful forest of Småland (south of Sweden) far off from the city it is a paradise for them who enjoy to live in nature. There is a train (1h) to the closest big cities and we can drive you to the station or the closest small city (12 min with car). There are also bikes to use.

TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY

You will gain skills and knowledge, both practically and theoretically in: > Permaculture design and how to work with your own piece of land > How to use natural material to build, restore, recycle and maintain > Cooking vegetarian/vegan food, baking bread, preserving food, wild picking > The principles of a Food forest and how to design one > Forest preservation and maintenance > Living in a community, entrepreneurship, creativity and personal development > Training in NonViolent Communication > Individual support and Coaching

PARTICIPANT PROFILE

You are driven, curious, caring, grounded, open for new experiences, responsible and have a passion for sustainability. You are not a party person and are interested in sharing with others. You are from an EU country and between 18-30 years old. You like to find out what brings you joy in life and engage in a personal growth journey. You enjoy or are curious about working with, and in nature. You are longing for a new way of learning that is hands-on and bring your knowledge back home, integrate it into your everyday living.
