ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
“Mon Ecole et Moi” is a private school founded in 2015 by the hyponymous NGO. It delivers education based on the montessori methods to children of different ages. With the permanent support of the staff, the volunteers who are interested in a volunteering placement will be assigned the following tasks: – presence and support for the pupiles during meal times and recreation; – participate in extra-curricular activities; – support during school hours; – participate in preparing classroom tools; – share his/her own culture with the pupiles; – participate in class outings; – personal initiatives will be encouraged
ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS
Volunteers will be accommodated in a rented appartment 15mn from the school (work place). A monthly food allowance will be tranfered to the volunteer.
PARTICIPANT PROFILE
The applicants must have an interest in alternative education methods, openminded, well organised and comfortable with children. Can communicate in english Interest in French language will be appreciated.
