ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
We are looking for 4 volunteers from EU countries to join our happy team here in Kawalkada Horseback Archery Stables in Poland as a part of HACK (Horseback Archery Camp at Kawalkada) project. We would like to offer you to spend summer (July – August 2021) with us. If you like horses and you want to learn: ✅ how stable life looks like in practice?, ✅ how to take care of horses? ✅ what is horseback archery? and ✅ how to organise horseback archery competition? But also: ✅ help us build our new stables / center, ✅ help us to organise summer camp for children and ✅ spend time in a beautiful natural surrounding with the middle of the Zielonka Forest with clean lakes and beautiful cycle paths. ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS
We provide accommodation, medical care, pocket money, food money and we refund travel expenses. Volunteers will be living together in 3 persons rooms (there is no possibility of separate rooms) in the Palace Boduszewo (hotel), each room has own bathroom, but the kitchen is shared. We also provide bicycles for volunteers.
TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY
On arrival training. Health and safety regulations and very important – how to handle horses We also will teach you what is horseback archery.
PARTICIPANT PROFILE
We are looking for a person who loves horses and wants to learn how to take care of them. Motivated, open-minded, has no fear of working with horses. We just moved to another location and we are finishing our new stable. So volunteers will be helping us in building our center. It involves a free of physical fitness. It’s not an indoor job. we spend all day outside (no matter if it rains or is hot). But we have plenty of clean lakes to swim after work :). If you are interested please fill out this questionnaire:
