France Paris Internship Programme The EIB, the European Union’s bank, is seeking for its Operations Directorate (OPS) – Western Europe Department (WE) – Corporates Division (4-CORP) at the EIB Group Office in Paris: TRAINEE

Duration: 5 months (fixed start date: 01st September / October 2022)

Please note that you are requested to limit your applications to a maximum of three traineeship publications. We will only consider and retain the first three applications submitted.

France Paris Internship Objective

Based in Paris, you will have the opportunity to assist loan officers in marketing related activities and in performing an in-depth research project of the key markets and financial analysis on existing or potential clients.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Head of Division and senior colleagues, you will actively participate in the Division’s core activities. Your main tasks will be to:

  • Assist Loan Officers in performing marketing related activities;
  • Carry out desktop research to identify potential clients to be contacted;
  • Perform financial analysis of potential clients;
  • Work on financial models;
  • Produce Power Point presentations.

APPLY

Academic qualifications and professional skills

  • Final year of studies or University degree in Finance, Economics or Business Studies;
  • A first experience in banking or audit will be considered as an advantage;
  • Good to advanced knowledge of MS Office software, in particular Word and Excel;
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and French. Knowledge of other EU language would be an asset
